Principal's Message
Welcome Tigers!
Dear Staff and Community,
My name is Agustin Arreola, and I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Turlock Junior High. It is a true privilege to lead a school with such a dedicated staff and supportive community. I look forward to working together to ensure the best possible education for our students.
I bring with me 25 years of experience in the educational setting. Over the past 11 years, I have served as a school administrator, including six years at Dutcher Middle School and two years as Principal at Osborn Two-Way Immersion Academy. I am proud of the shared accomplishments at each site, where we partnered with families, created safe and welcoming learning environments, and improved academic achievement. I believe in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that celebrates student success in all areas, promotes positive citizenship, and values the unique talents and contributions of every individual.
As principal of Turlock Junior High, I am committed to establishing a healthy learning environment that promotes high levels of learning. Through a team approach, Turlock Junior High School will build on recent successes, such as being recognized as a “California School to Watch” by the California Department of Education and approaching Gold level implementation for the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program which is recognized by the Stanislaus County Office of Education. I will prioritize partnering with families, providing parents with opportunities to get involved, provide input, and acquire information on how to support their children during these important junior high years. Together, we will embody our school slogan, “It’s a Matter of Pride,” in everything we do.
I am confident that, with your support and involvement, we can achieve great things for our students and our school community. Thank you for welcoming me, and I look forward to a fantastic year ahead.
Sincerely,
Agustin Arreola
