STEM Program

We want to share an update regarding the TJHS STEM Pathway Lottery process. As part of our continued efforts to expand opportunity and increase access, families now have the option to submit a petition for additional review if their child did not meet the statewide or iReady assessment cut scores.

For families who submit a petition, academic performance on the 6th-grade Trimester 2 report card will continue to be considered, along with habits of success. Our goal is to balance opportunity with readiness so that students are well-positioned to succeed in the program.

All petitions must be submitted by Tuesday, March 3, at 4:00 PM to be considered. After a petition is submitted, the site administration will review the request and contact families directly with the next steps. If submitting a petition, please also submit the STEM Lottery Application.
