Library

The Library can be found upstairs in building C.  Students may visit the Library during lunch time with a library pass and after school to check out books.  

Use the TJHS Library Catalog Search to see which books are available for checkout.  Make sure to click on TJHS.

Students are allowed to have a maximum of three books checked out at the same time. Please make sure to return all books in a timely manner as books from the library have a 21-day period before they are marked as "lost". Fines may be added to the student's account if the book is not returned or if it is significantly damaged. Students - If you need to renew your library book, please visit the library and let Miss Avila know so she can renew it for you.

Reminder: The library is a food-free zone, make sure to eat all snacks prior to visiting. 

Chromebook:

As a reminder, it is the student's responsibility to report any Chromebook issues to the school as soon as possible - within a week of occurrence.  For example: to report an insurance claim, damage, or perform a password reset.  Please visit the library and fill out a Chromebook Repair Ticket in order for Miss Moreno to assess the damage and replace or repair the Chromebook as soon as possible. 

Chromebook insurance is available for purchase until December 31st, 2026. Insurance must be purchased prior to any occurrence of damage at https://schooldevicecoverage.com/signup.

Without coverage, families are financially responsible for repair or replacement costs if a district-issued device is damaged, lost, or stolen, according to district policy.
